Why choose the Cardo Packtalk Slim JBL Bluetooth?

The leading motorcycle Bluetooth intercom system just got smarter. The Packtalk Slim takes all the amazing features and functionalities from the Packtalk and is 18,5mm thinner than the Packtalk Bold. And it adds Natural Voice Operation on top of that. Now you're also able to control your devices through Apple Siri or Ok Google, depending on what kind of smartphone you're using.

The Cardo Packtalk Slim JBL Bluetooth features the unique DMC Intercom mode, which allows multi-party intercom calls for up to 15 riders with a 1.2 km (0.7 mile) range. Though, if you are connected with a group of 6 or more riders, the connection would work even up to 8 km (5 mile). The DMC protocol allows the units to "chain" their signal together to create a huge range of connected units. The DMC protocol is also adaptive and responsive: the network you and your riding buddies are connected to allows units to leave and enter the group call without any extra action needed. Just add your buddies to the list of approved devices and the Packtalk takes care of the rest. This DMC feature is truly unique in the world of motorcycle communication systems.

If you don't need the DMC functionality you can also switch to the more power economical Bluetooth mode for intercom calls with up to 4 riders within a range of 1.2 km (0.7 mile). The Cardo Gateway feature also allows non-Cardo headsets to connect. Other features include Voice Command, A2DP connection to a phone or MP3 player, built-in FM radio, noise cancellation and Music Sharing (rider and passenger listen to the same music). The Cardo Packtalk is equipped with interchangeable hybrid and corded microphones, as well as with replaceable speakers. This allows you to use your own microphone or earbuds if you prefer those over the Cardo parts. The Cardo Packtalk Slim has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning you will never have to worry about using your Packtalk unit in the rain.

Now equipped with JBL Speakers for great sound quality!

I bought Klim Krious Pro metallic bronze helmet but the dealer in Singapore told me the Sena 10U will only arrive in a month time... but after more than 1 month the bluetooth set still not available. So my journey starts looking for alternative. I need a low profile set and seems that Cardo Packtalk Slim is the best fit. I am riding Honda Xadv and the compartment under the seat is just nice for my helmet but no room for bulky bluetooth.
Then I found one at Ebay, ChromeBurner selling 1 pcs PT Slim - normally Cardo comes in package for 2. Tried to make payment but cant get through. Kind CB inform me to go order from their website and I did. No problem.
Shipping was fast and delivered on time as promised. Netherland to Singapore less than 1 week! FedEx is a good choice of partnership.. really!
The best motorcycle store for online purchase from my experience. Price is also good.
I installed the PT Slim, need some skill though to hide the cables as the battery unit placed at the back. I did it perfectly and seems like Cardo PT Slim is made for Klim Krious Pro! The helmet fit in nicely under the seat of my Xadv.. Perfect marriage!
Thank you CB for the experience and will look forward to purchase more item soon.

faq

Can this communication set also connect with that of another brand?

Many modern communication systems utilize a universal Bluetooth protocol, allowing them to connect with other brands. However, it's important to note that interoperability is often limited to a single unit from another brand. Keep this in mind when considering cross-brand compatibility.

Does this communication system fit in my helmet?

We offer universal and brand-specific communication systems for motorcyclists. Universal systems fit a variety of helmets, while brand-specific systems integrate seamlessly with specific helmets. Check the "Additional Information" tab on each product for compatibility details.

What's in the box?

All necessary components for installation are included in the box with every communication system. Think of clips, adhesive strips, Velcro and other things. With a Duo set everything is double in the box.

What is the added value of an expensive system over a cheaper one?

In essence, a communication kit provides the ability to communicate with another device, be it your navigation, your mobile or another rider. The price of these communication kits lies, among other things, in the design, the build quality, but most importantly in the connection possibilities. So if you only want to listen to music, you definitely do not need to take the top model that allows you to communicate with up to 15 people.
